Jun 13 Morris originally was scheduled to face Roger Clemens in a battle of aces at Yankee Stadium on Friday, but the Cardinals' righthander was pushed back a day to Saturday after a knot below his right shoulder blade generated some discomfort. The knot dates back to before his Sunday start against the Orioles, an outing in which Morris coughed up 11 hits and seven runs in five innings. His fastball didn't reach 90 MPH against Baltimore, and his curveball wasn't effective against O's hitters.
Advice: There's reason to believe Morris may not be at his best against the Yankees on Saturday. As a precaution, Morris has been doing his between-start throwing in the outfield instead of off a mound.

Regardless of his crappy start vs O's, I was tempted to take the Cards in this one vs the struggling Pettitte. This blurb will force me to pass.
Was going to mention when I do my thread, but thought I'd get it in here early.
Cards may still win, but this sure turns me off them.
