yesterday: 4-1 +2.7 (dang Bosox...dang Loaiza...what happened to the bozo who used to start in T.O.?)
BB postages: 49-38 +11.95
The dark side of the force burned me last week, so this could be dangerous ... trouble is time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin', into the future...
P.S. (M.S?)
Scoop, tried to answer your Q in yesterday's 2 cents thread.
Bordering on zombiage tonight, so let me know if that answer is garbage.
4 I Can't Pass On Thursday
-----------------------------------
Pirates (Wells over Ohka) -110
2.2/2
--Wells is very solid, and Expos are slippin', slippin'....
Braves (Hampton over Padilla) +115
1/1.15
--I want to pound this so bad...not sure why; Padilla has owned the Braves this year, in 2 April starts (one was CG shutout, if my (very) short-term memory works). Hampton is coming on lately, but Phil is at home, here ... not sure why ... just got a feeling (Carpe Diem!)
Giants (Schmidt over Perez) -130
1.3/1
--another I want to pound...probably won't get this price on Schmidt the rest of the season...I've always liked this guy and he's sure bringing it this year...SF, mind you, has only scored 2 runs through the first 2 games of this series, but Perez has not been sharp lately (certainly not like other lefty Ishii), and Giants supposedly can handle lefties better this year, as they did last year
Royals (Snyder over Mays) +100
1/1
--KC has come back to life and I totally disrespect Mays as a starter. Snyder, of course, may have a short outting, off DL, and Royals pen borders on sucking the big one, so this may be an adventure in the late going.
Just thought I should at least make an appearance.
Plays is all I've got.
Sleep is all I need.
Take care all.

Down and Out
It Can't be helped but there's a lot of it about
With, Without
And who'll deny it's what the fighting's all about
