All these commentators on t.v. are saying they've never seen a team come back from a deficit like this before. Lazy journalism. Sign of the times.
When I was in college (I think it was '94) I remember Kentucky- on ESPN- coming back from like a 26 or 27 point deficit at LSU and winning. And that was in the 2nd half! Even more impressive.
You are 100% right about McIntosh. They needed him in the 2nd half. Wish the Indiana product attended IU, but we were stuck with Tom Crean, so I can't blame him for going to another school; particularly an outstanding academic school like Northwestern.
I was at the Fairfield game earlier, so I didn't see the first half of MSU-NW. I couldn't believe when I saw that NW was up 27 points with McIntosh. That impresses me more than MSU's comeback!
