On Saturday I raced across town to post my NFL plays in the Infinity contest before the 1:00 p.m. EST deadline on the Vikings game. I dashed from car to keyboard and quickly typed my picks to click in the dash to be last. My computer clock is never accurate and I was holding my breath as I hit the submit button and waited for my post to safely register at 12:57 p.m. It took all of 15 seconds before I realized what a KNUCKLEHEAD I was for not posting my selections as my choices to lose.
My only 5-0 week of the year otherwise did me quite well, but I wish today I wasn't faced with looking at how close ($19.60) would have taken me to the prize being offered for a season with scars. With the pressure now off, it can't even be a true case of "what if" after next week.
