About Memphis: K.J. Lawson was named the AAC player of the week after averaging 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4.5 assists as Memphis had wins over Houston and Central Florida...In Sunday's 70-65 win over UCF, Lawson hit 4 of 4 free throws in the final 1:16...Lawson had 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists...His brother Dedric Lawson scored 14 points...Dedric is second in both scoring (19.8 ppg.) and rebounding (10.2) in the AAC and is third in blocked shots (2.6 per game)...With an average of 77.9 ppg., Memphis is the highest scoring AAC team...The Tigers are only 10th in the AAC in three point percentage (.308)...Entering Tuesday, Memphis had four of the AAC's top 11 players in minutes played. They were Jeremiah Martin (35 minutes per game, fifth), Dedric Lawson (34.5, seventh), Markel Crawford (34.1, ninth) and K.J. Lawson (33.6, tied for 11th).
