UConn plays a second straight game coming off a short week.
Memphis? 3-0 start gave it a third consecutive 3-0 beginning for the first time in program history.
UConn last won an AAC game Oct. 8, 2016 when it beat Cincinnati, 20-9, at Rentschler Field.
UConn quarterback Bryant Shirreffs looks to throw for 400 or more yards in a third straight game. He is the only quarterback in program history to throw for 400 or more yards in consecutive games.
Memphis? trip marks just the second time it has played in New England, each of those coming against UConn.

What to watch for
1. Anthony Miller. The Memphis receiver is quarterback Riley Ferguson?s favorite target. Miller has 20 catches, nine more than the closest teammate, for 292 yards and three touchdowns. He is averaging 73 yards per game and 14.6 yards per catch.

2. Scoreboard lights: Those suckers might burn out tonight. Memphis allows 36.3 points per game, UConn 37. Memphis is No. 125 nationally in total defense, UConn No. 126. Memphis averages 35.5 points per game, UConn 27.8. Neither team is good defensively and each team has been quite good offensively.

3. Early scoring. As good as UConn has been offensively, it has still yet to lead a game after the first half and has posted just 31 first-half points in four games. The Huskies have, however, outscored foes 80-56 in the second half of games. Memphis, on the other hand, is evenly balanced between the first and second halves.
