This board. ALL Memphis.
Radio all day. ALL Memphis but one guy.
I just don't see how they match up with SA.
They have no bench besides Bayless or Pointdexter (That doesn't say very much).
They have no 3'pt shooters besides Conley or Pointdexter. I don't care that they lost all game 1's and won from there on. That means nothing. Spurs have held ZBo to 36% shooting in 4 meetings. The Spurs have way too much on offense and defense for Memphis.
The Spurs 2nd team could compete with Memphis starters. Everyone is loading up on Memphis for the series down 1-0 and claims to be adding more if down 2-0. I can't tell you how many people I heard or talked to taking Memphis tonight. So I see it only one way.

SA Wins & Covers Again.
I'm playing it smart IMO.

SA -200 ML. I will look to add at HT.

IMO Spurs win from tip to finish.

Another indication to me -
Prop bet I see has ZBLOW @ 16.5 points tonight.
If he doesn't give them 20+ they have no chance.

I Like Parker over 22, Hollands will tell his players stay home on the 3 point shooters and make Parker beat you. Which he will

What I have yet to understand is this......
Everyone who disagrees has not responded to my info.
Who does Memphis have on the bench ? Who has any playoff experience ?
Show me who matches up to SA ?
Ginobli
Diaw
Neal
Bonner
Blair
Mills
Hell even Tmac

Memphis
Pointdexter
Arthur
Davis
bayless
Daye
Dooling

The only one is Dooling with any previous experience.

Many of the points that you are arguing don't seem very relevant, which is perhaps why you are not getting many people trying to discuss with you. I don't really care who the "talking heads" are taking, and this seems to be one point you are thriving on (despite the fact that you never respond to people saying that many of them are in fact on the Spurs).

I don't see why the bench matters really at this point. Of the top ten teams in bench efficiency, only one is left in the playoffs - Spurs, and four are gone (Denver, GSW, Clippers, Knicks), so this doesn't seem relevant. Actually, two teams who are in the bottom ten are still left (Indy, Memphis), so really maybe we should argue that having a good bench hurts your chances at succeeding in the playoffs. Of course, I wouldn't argue that point, but based on available information, I suppose a person could.

Gasol, Randolph, and Conley have played 40 games together in the playoffs, and Randolph has played more on different teams. Tony Allen has played 99 playoff games, and Prince has played 224 playoff games and they both have a ring. I'm not sure how any of that is very relevant, but they certainly are a seasoned veteran team that has playoff experience. If you are talking about their bench playoff experience, again - not sure that matters. Why does it matter? If you are going to argue a point, then back it up with some factual information that shows that having bench playoff experience is important for a team to win in the playoffs.

I'm not saying you are wrong about the Spurs - in fact at this point in time, I tend to agree, despite the fact that my money lies with Memphis. But the Spurs bench is NOT better than the Grizzlies starters. Exorbitant claims weaken your argument. Three point shooting isn't their game plan, so it doesn't matter that they don't have long range shooters. The Spurs holding Randolph to 36% in the four regular season meetings - that is relevant. Your point on Bonner in your other thread is (surprisingly), relevant.

Just my take.

Yes sir it is ! No way Memphis had any biz covering.
The refs gave them the cover. The NBA never ceases to amaze.:mj07: It's just picking the right side of the whistles.
