unless they get the deer in the headlight look tonight, they have a great chance to beat duke who will be without their most athletic player demarcus nelson. i also like the under.

Not gonna happen....Duke's "D" will be way too much for the Tigers.

nelson is their best perimeter defender and he is out. if memphis doubles on sheldon and redick someone else has to step up and so far melchionni can't hit a basket, paulus and dockery do not score. maybe mcroberts will have double double but so far duke has been getting hammered on the boards.

I am with you lowell.
Duke blows.Just kidding, but no Nelson will hurt them in this matchup.

Memphis can win. Not saying they will but at +175. It is worth a small play.
While Memphis looked good the other, it maybe unknown because UCLA is 100% garbage.

My longhsot of the day is Monmouth +900 on the ML and +14.5. They looked good last night and I was not thrilled at all with So Carolina.

Good Luck

Duke will win this game, if they are going to be a great team they need to win games like this and they will. Memphis is the trendy pick in this situation. Although I agree they are a weaker team w/out nelson i think they use this game as a statement. They will rebound from the injury and play well tonight.

duke may win and cover this game, but they are definitely not the trendy pick here.......every consensus site I've seen has 70% plus on duke. Plus the line opened at 6 and was bet down immediately to 4.5 and now has worked its way back to 5 a little before gametime.....could that be a sharp play and now public is betting the line back up? Good luck lowell. :)

Was thinking the same thing. Having watched all the "top teams" so far this year it seems to me that this year's title is ripe for the taking. Young teams like Duke, Texas, etc are going to look like world beaters one night and very average the next. Sometimes just got to take a stab at which night which team will show.

I am glad I am sitting on Memphis +175 instead of Duke -185.
Memphis may not pull it out, but at near 2 to 1 odds they are giving me a chance.

memphis
very close. i attribute that loss to memphis not having a true pg on the floor. washington too interested in his own shot. hope the tigers learn from this, but with so many shitty teams in conf USA - the whole team can play at half spped and win. darius is a great talent, but i wish he would rely on the others more. :sadwave:

once the tigers learn to go inside 1st and stop picking up cheap fouls they will be very dangerous. hope we see pitino on the road to the final 4. bastard.... :)

6-23 from the 3 pt line did not help. loads of talent for memphis and they have a good chance to go far in tourney

exactly (3pt area) again an area where memphis is accustomed to letting it fly freely - rather than really running a play. they hit those shots against ucla and never got into an offense until late in the 2nd half.

the strategy against duke did change for memphis in the 2nd half, but still too many wasted possessions. we do have a lot of talent - anything less than the elite eight is damn near unacceptable.

I know there is alot of early hype about Duke winning the NC, but my money will be on UCONN. Hopefully they will get their star PG off suspension in the middle of year and take the world by storm.

I will bet on NIowa, and Milwakee any night of the week this year. But That being said, I bet on Duke straight up in a Parlay.
