Merry Christmas to all fellow handicappers, first game up today Las Vegas Bowl. After sifting through all the information this is how I see it. We all know the firing of UCLA's head coach Toledo will definitely have a big effect and cant be overlooked. UCLA has appointed their schools assistant director of academics to be head coach for this game, whats up with that anyway, but no doubt the offensive and defensive coordinators will be running the show. Looking for UCLA to run a very conservative offense with Freshman quarter back Olson who completed less than 50 percent of his passes and threw for only 584 yards and 3 touchdowns abd three interception in the last 4 games. UCLA also has a feshman running back in Tyler Ebell who is pretty decent,he had 6 straight 100 yard games before struggling in the last 2 games. There will be some dissarray in the coaching aspect for UCLA but the defense will be easier to handle than the offensive play calling. This leads us to the New Mexico Lobos. The offense for the Lobos is pretty simple they like to run the ball and do have a good running back in freshman DonTrell Moore. The Lobos passing attack is simply horrible averaging 138 yards per game which is close the worst in all of Division 1-A football. So there is no doubts in what New Mexico will be doing. Head coach for the Lobos is Rocky Long who used to be Defensive coordinator for UCLA a couple years back under the Fired Toledo so he is familiar with UCLAS program.

So getting to the point there is no doubt UCLA has more talent than New Mexico on both sides of the ball but where are their heads going to be after the firing of the head coach and their dissappointing season. New Mexico will be the more motivated team with the better focus but the talent is not much. The play here has got to be the under. And I think New Mexico will be in this till the end. That being said. The Pick
