okay, okay, so i'm off this week and bored, and when those things happen my mind works in convoluted ways. that's about the only way i would ever think about betting this game, but i just put in ball st +17- and under 56. wait, before you run away clutching your wallet and screaming, hear me out. the redhawks just had both their chance to be in the mac title game and their chance at a bowl game go down the crapper with a loss to eastern michigan last wednesday. now they drive the 70 miles or so to muncie to play the cellar dwelling cardinals, who i am supposed to believe is their newly designated "rival." the temperature will be around freezing with a rain/snow mix and about a 13mph wind. what a shitty night to play a meaningless football game. i'll bet ball state is more motivated to get a win than the redhawks, and also believe both teams will adopt a style of play to let the clock run when possible.
