I like Dallas myself... deeper, hungrier, more desperate team... plus Dirk revenge factor. Miami comes up short in the first year of the big 3... then they can go on and win it all next year... or the next 3 years after this one.

Agree with Deezy.

And here's a wacked out conspiracy theory of mine....

Stern is pissed about the "Decision" and how Miami's Big 3 got together. For them to win in the first year sends a dangerous precedent for down the road. Stern is the puppet master and will pull whatever strings he needs to make sure bron bron doesn't win this year.

...Not to mention between Kidd, Terry, Peja, Marion and Dirk, all of them all-stars in their prime... thats 62 yrs combined in the League, NOT A SINGLE RING... this one means a hell of a lot more to those guys than it does for the Lebrons to prove all their doubters and haters wrong. They've done that now and I think Dallas is on a mission for something bigger. Just my two cents.

I really think this series comes down to whether or not Wade gets his legs back. These days off are going to be big for him. I read online that he told LJ after the game that he had to get his legs back and LJ responded "they went on vacation with Ray Allen." He looked tired in the Bulls series and his shot was off because of it. He'll also be chasing Terry around screens a lot in the Mavs series so he's going to be getting it on both sides just like in the Boston series.

The one BIG positive about having Kidd is that he plays d on 2 guards very well. That will leave Terry guarding Bibby and Chalmers quite a bit which take his liability on the defensive end away.

If Marion can stop James from driving and limit him to j's it will help(not sure he can do that). I think you'll see Chandler on Bosh and Dirk on Anthony and Haslem.

The match up I'm dieing to see is when Lebron guards Dirk(I'm thinking that will happen if Dirk starts going off at any point). As a Mavs fan the one thing I do worry about is Haslem. IMO he has guarded Dirk as well as anyone in the league. He's physical enough, long enough and athletic enough to give Dirk big problems.

Both Wade and James love to play off the ball defense and help out but the Mavs are a team that punish other teams for doing that.

Bottom line, which ever team makes the shots in the last 5 minutes wins the game.

Dallas is deep, and has many shooters to make Lebron and Wade stay honest to a degree. They could get by helping with Chicago's inability to score, not sure they can do that with Dallas. The Mavs have more scoring options than the offensively limited Bulls. On the flip side, Dallas has to now face 3 guys that can go off during any game, pretty much havent seen anything close to this thus far. Great experience both ways, doubt either will be awe stuck on the road, where both have done well. Should be a very competitive serious. Tough call as I can make a case both ways.

IMHO there are THREE (PUN INTENDED) factors favoring Dallas... the three pt shooting, quantity of shots attempted , made (hits) and received... difference between these two teams may go as high as 20 point difference in any given game

BOL to all this great final...tonite it's the OVER all the way:toast:
