Dallas is clearly the better team. From what I saw on Saturday versus Utah, these guys won't hesitate to blow an opponent out. HC D. Nelson is not one to run up the score, but their style of play dictates up-tempo and taking early shots.

Pick: Dallas -14

The over should always be considered in games involving Dallas, but the problem here is Miami. The Heat can stink it up. So I'll pass on the o/u.

What do you think about Miami pulling the upset? I dont see it, and wanted to play the Moneyline, anyone forsee a Miami Heat Upset, I dont, especially with Dallas at home, but what do you think?:shrug:

Don't want to bud into cryboys thread, but what would ever possess you to play the moneyline. Currently at -1200 and higher at some places. I can see if you want to throw it into a parlay or something, and there is probably value in this line at -1200 even, but risking 1200 to win 100 in the NBA is suicide in the long run. Sure you get the best home team in the NBA the last few seasons versus arguably the worst team in the NBA that is banged up, but I don't advocate playing a ridiculous moneyline as a straight bet. I'm sure it will hit, but in the long run as a straight bet just don't see it being that smart. Good luck to you though.

CalSateguy, EZ is correct. It never pays to play a money this big. How many of these types of wagers would you need to win to recover from losing just one ML at -1000? Ten, right? That's too much risk. Anything can happen in an NBA game. I can't give you suggestions on how to wager. I can only say that I am not betting the Dallas ML tonight.

I think you have a bettor shot at winning the Roy Jones Jr. moneyline this Saturday. It's only -850 as compared to Dallas ML at -1000. Jones will destroy A. Tarver.
