Its Goin to rain tonight...I am a biased opinion here so take it like you want. FSU's OL should dominate the line and the running game is going to be fsu's key. Miami's harris to me is a question mark. He is young and inexperienced coming into tally. The last young and inexperienced QB to come here got sacked 9 times and lost by 3. If we had any type of offense it would have been by more. Miami's OL is going to have to hold off what andrew's says to be the fastest defense he has seen here at fsu. He doesn't say that often. FSU has alot of experience coming back and at home. I am suprised the line is at -6. The only thing miami has going for them is this is the first game of the season and crazy things happen. Call me crazy but just for fun i am throwing 31-10 out there....i would love to here unbiased opinions also.

My question is how in the hell do you cap the total in this one?

Weather might suck.
The total is somewhat a low number and the past 2 seasons, this game has been very high scoring.
The prior 5 meetings were all low scoring.
Recent history says the Over is too easy in this one,so what is making me think under?

I think FSU wins a close one as is the history of the series.

yeah i am not sure about the under and over..i am not sure about miami's defense but i know fsu offense should have no problem scoring over 24 points. Can you really say miami will come out and score 23 or more points on fsu at home in the rain? They did two years ago but FSU SUCKED that year. I like to forget about that year.( i am not betting on this game)

I haven't been confident in fsu before the season since 99. I think you can agree with me that last year was the beginning of FSU's come back. I see alot more stability in fsu. Florida State could have easily completed last year with one lost. A lot of tough luck in the three losses besides florida. I have read up on miami for the past two days and I don't see what other people see.

Well I am no expert on Miami as I only saw a few of their games last year but I know this.
It seems like the Miami defense always forces turnovers(FSU had 4 last year vs Mia and 5 the year before) and you add in sloppy field could spell mistakes.
It also depends on which Miami defense shows. They looked awesome for 3 quarters last year vs Florida before falling apart in the 4th and they didn't force any turnovers in that game.

Turnovers will be a major factor tonight is my guess.
I do 100% agree with you on FSU but dont sell this Miami team short.

yeah thats why i am not betting on this game...these two teams you just never know who is going to show up...they can lose to a non ranked high school team and the next week beat a top 5 team. I really think that both schools are doing a injustice playing each other the first game of the year. I think Florida Gators are right on by playing easy games. It is alot of on field practice before big games. Florida State did alot of this in the 90's and it builds depth.
