One of the biggest questions of the 2013 NFL offseason has just been answered. ESPN?s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a one-year restructured contract with quarterback Michael Vick. The deal will keep Vick in Philadelphia at a discounted price.
Vick teamed up with new Eagles head coach Chip Kelly? Oh, this is going to be fun. Vick?s skill set will fit right into the wheelhouse of what Kelly wants to install with the Eagles offense. Of course, Vick will first need to beat out Nick Foles for the team?s starting quarterback gig.
The restructured deal is a three-year deal that will essentially turn into a one-year contract when the final two years are voided out on March 15.
