MICHIGAN STATE/ILLINOIS Under 145.5 - This total may be artificially inflated due to the fact that Michigan State is coming off of a game for the ages at Ohio State on Saturday, where they shot over 72% from the field for the game! However, I do not expect the Spartans to catch lightning in a bottle two games in a row, particularly vs. an Illinois defense that is allowing just 60.0 per game overall at home this season and an even more impressive 58.4 points per home conference game. In fact, the average total score of all Illinois Big Ten games this year is just 130.7 points, more than 15 points less than this posted total. Also, the 5 head-to-head meetings between these schools since the 2000-2001 season have averaged a combined 127.6 points, with the MOST points scored in any meeting being 143, which would STILL not be good enough to go Over this total.
