Former MSU coach George Perles is now director of the Motor City Bowl. He was quoted this week as saying Sparty would be headed to the MCB, regardless of the outcome vs Penn State this weekend. He and MSU AD Ron Mason have apparently worked something out behind the scenes. This is obviously very disheartening to the team as they figured prior to Perles's comments that they'd be playing for a trip to Texas this week. DB/LB Robert Flagg was arrested this week on drug charges, and John L Smith appears to be losing the team. Couple all this with the fact that PSU players will want to send out JoePa with a win........leaning heavy to Penn State ML here.

MSU looked so flat last week. I should have saw this coming as they had tough games at home to Michigan and on the road at OSU. Then the almighty 3rd game on the road and the motivation was gone. They looked drained from the previous two weeks. As for this week I was thinking MSU might be able to get back on track a bit but I think I will stay away from them this week. GL

Penn State

Penn State

Thanks for the information on the bowl lock up. I liked Penn State before and even more now. Last week Michigan State looked very undisciplined. Penn States weakness is their run defense. The Spartans can't run the ball. Teams that have their bowl locked up are a good go against. I like Penn State to win outright. Mills has played better since coming back from his injury.
Good luck on your plays this weekend.
