Really like them tonight. Top 3 teams in Big 10 are very good.

I look at it like this: Wisconsin played at Virginia and best them soundly, by 10 points.

In the Big 10 tournament, Michigan State throttled UW.

Michigan State should handle Virginia rather easily. Both Virginia and Wichita State were weak #1 seeds this year (they had to pick somebody, didn't they?)

Virginia hasn't seen a team like this all year. Well, they did...they got beat by duke and beat by Wisconsin. Virginia's best win, based on RPI was home against Syracuse. And Syracuse is not in WI or Michigan State's class.

Michigan State by 10. They are tougher, bigger, and better althletes. And well coached. And played a tougher schedule, being in the Big 10, rather than the ACC.

Virginia handled UNC which I believe beat Michigan State rather easily on the road.
They did not have injuries at that time.
I believe UVA is the better team but I think Izzo can get his players to better handle being on the big stage .
Joe Harris is the key. He could get 24 points or he could get 8.

Really like the Big 10 top teams this year. Would love to see 3 of them in Final Four. Unlikely, but possible.

But any team can have a bad game and lose. Including Michigan State.

I just don't feel Virginia has played this type of team all year, other than Wisky. And Michigan State is a much different team now than they were in the NC schedule.

I obviously misjudged Virginia. Michigan State is playing like crap, but Virginia has a lot to do with that. Gonna have to get lucky now, as this game could go either way...
