It continues to rain at Michigan Stadium and lightning strikes have been numerous.
When lightning is in the area, NCAA guidelines stipulate there must be a minimum 30-minute delay after the last strike.
Michigan trails Utah 26-10. The game was called with 7:51 left in the game.
A Michigan official has indicated that "nothing is off the table" regarding the continuation of the game. There could be a postponement, both teams could agree to call the game, and there could be a "termination" of the game, which Utah, of course, would never consider.
Meanwhile, the Michigan Stadium field is absolutely soaked with water. There are significant puddles around the entire field, with some bleeding toward the middle of the field.
It remains a wait-and-see situation here.
Interception for Morris, then delay
Backup quarterback Shane Morris entered the game to attempt to give the Wolverines a spark after starter Devin Gardner threw his second interception, and then Morris threw an interception.
