We're halfway through the season...anyone wanna change their SB prediction?

I had Miami vs ? in the preseason. I now say...
Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia

I'm very close to giving the NFC to the Saints but I think homefield advantage will be big for Philly. (If they get it)

As for Pittsburgh...
They are no doubt in the easiest (or weakest) division in the league. Plaxico is looking like he did at Michigan State now that someone is getting him the ball. Bettis on the sidelines is usually better for the team as Amos and Fu are a better fit.

Other than Atlanta and Tampa, the remaining schedule isn't too hard (outside the division), with games at Tennessee and Jacksonville and home vs Houston and Carolina.

Tommy Maddox ?
Remember...the last 3 Superbowl winners did it with a QB who started the season on the bench. (Brady, Dilfer and Warner)

I would go with Broncos vs Eagles, especially if the Broncos could some how get home field in the playoffs. Would be a tough task for a warm weather team (Miami, S.D. or Oakland) to come into Denver and beat them. Like it was said during the game today, Denver seems to be coming together as a team.

Would also have to agree, gonna have to change that to '03 national champs. Believe me, I feel your pain, have been a die hard Michigan fan my whole life. Just once I would like to have a dominate team like some of the other perennial big name teams. It seems like we are always pretending to be a contender.

Can we safely say that Cincinati will not entertain us at the Superbowl!!
I'm on Houston -3 today and will play this all the way down to 1' all week...don't see cincy picking up a win here ..their next chance for a win will be at Jax in December..still don't think they can win that one..

Pre-season I said Denver-NO (bet NO at 30-1 in April)

Right now in the AFC Denver looks solid and I'm also considering Pitt at 12-1 they are coming on have a great shot at the #1/2 seed = bye then home game.

In the NFC the Saints offense has been as I expected, explosive big plays. However the defense is pretty bad. Not sure if they can make it thru 2-3 games in the playoffs. GB and Philly look good and don't count out the Rams at 30-1 right now. They could sneak in as the #6 seed and then who knows.

All that said and gambling wagers aside, right now I'll say:

Denver-Philly

Haha...you seem to like the past, so I figured I'd bring up the past too.
No, In no way am I conceding defeat this year! You should easily be able to beat us this year. We have a bad team and you're what...5th in the BCS? Man, the talent they have in Columbus! Clarett is definately ready for the pro's....and Krenzel...what more can I say. Gamble is such a player to be starting both ways, he should, hands down, win the heisman! With all that going for Ohio Stink....why shouldn't they beat lowly ole Michigan. ;)

I just hope they don't goof up and lose that "goose-egg" on their win/loss record before we come to town. ;)

Big UM fan myself- they'll be ready for Coumbus on 11/23- what else do they have to play for this year? At least tomorrow, crushing State should be enjoyable.

Super Bowl Prediction Denver/Philly.
