Livingston to beat St. Johnstone @ 7/5 1 point

These two teams are over priced, Dundee should be 5/4 and Livingston 11/10. Both sides are well enough equipped to take care of their opponents and their form is good at present.


European Cup

Juventus to beat Newcastle United @ 7/5 1 point

I have kept stakes to a minimum, not through lack of confidence but in respect of the uncertainity of cup football.

Newcastle need to win as they have done all competition. There form this season is way down on last yar and they have only managed to win against lowly rated sides. In Juventus we come across the Italian mentallity where they still adopt the attitude of not losing first. They may well play for a draw but a win does mean that they qualify for the second stages and will be able to rest key players for the remainder of stage one.

Livingston's game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The stake is returned (void).

In my opinion they will take it seriously due to the fact that any silverware is better than none as they have lived in the shadow of Celtic for a few years now.

On the other hand, Hibs have started to hit form over the last six games and have home field advantage, though the later is not such a big advantage as many would have you believe.

I would personnally not play (wager) on this game, but if you really like Rangers step in and play accordingly.
