Went to a Windy City Thunderbolts game Saturday night. Had a great time. Located around 137th and Pulaski by the train yards at the edge of Chicago. It minor league baseball. Lot of youth and energy working the park. Not the same crap you put up with trying to get a dog and a beer at the big parks. My friend got together a party of 30 or so. $25 per head, all the food you can eat and hour before 1st pitch. In a large patio area tented with a waitress or two. Beers $4, parking $2. Brand new park built by Miller Brewing. No lines to leak or leave. Just a bunch of South Side nuts enjoying the game. (I'm considered North side)
Saw the Cane County Cougars a number of years ago in the Western suburbs and enjoyed that as well.
