"Mike Tyson hasn't lost his penchant for saying the outrageous.

In a television interview scheduled for broadcast Thursday, Tyson again denied he raped Desiree Washington in 1991 in an Indianapolis hotel room. But he said the burden of being labeled a convicted rapist makes him want to do it now.

"I just hate her guts. She put me in that state, where I don't know,'' Tyson said. "I really wish I did now. But now I really do want to rape her.''

Tyson made the comments during a recent interview in Miami Beach with Greta Van Susteren, who was taking a look back at the circumstances of Tyson's 1992 trial that ended with him convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison.

He served three years of the sentence before being released on parole.

A call for comment to Tyson's adviser, Shelly Finkel, was not immediately returned.

The interview will be shown Thursday night on "The Pulse'' on the Fox network."

they should send him back to prison for three more years just for saying this. He is one sick tomato.

Tyson says he'd rape again
May 29 2003

Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson said talking about the beauty queen he was jailed for raping in 1991 makes him so mad he would rape her - and her mother.

"She's a lying, monstrous young lady - I just hate her guts," Tyson said.

"She puts me in that state where I don't know ... but now I really do want to rape her and her (expletive) mama."

In an explosive interview with Fox News Channel's Greta Van Susteren, Tyson claimed "slimy" Desiree Washington accused him of assaulting her in an Indiana hotel room because she was "money hungry".

"Anybody else having fun like that, it's young boys having fun," Tyson said.

"But it's me, I'm a big black rapist. . . . That's the stigma I'm left with."

Saying that witnesses who would have testified that Washington was a "gold digger" were not allowed to testify, Tyson insisted he would have been exonerated if he had had a fairer trial.

"Have another trial, and if I lose, I do my time again," he pledged.

Tyson, 36, served three years in prison after he was convicted of raping the then 18-year-old Miss Black America contestant. He completed his parole in June 1999.

Washington, who now lives in Maryland, did not return a call for comment. Neither did her parents in Rhode Island.

Muhammad Siddeeq, who was Tyson's spiritual adviser while the boxer was behind bars, said Tyson was goaded by Van Susteren into making controversial statements.

"Her job is to get ratings on television," Siddeeq said.

But Siddeeq said Tyson has been "self-destructing" since his divorce from second wife Monica Turner in January, and his verbal jabs at Washington - like the tattoo now gracing his face - are symptoms of much deeper problems.

"Mike is going through some severe emotional problems of his own, and I see him running from help, running from people who love him," said Siddeeq, who said he last spoke with Tyson two months ago.
