I've never cared for Morgan and his misinformation, but I really like Miller. Miller is in my top 5 for favorite voices in baseball.

:iagree:

Miller is the best in baseball since Costas doesn't do any baseball now. Morgan is a fool and always has been--not going to miss him in the least. Door seems to be not totally closed on Miller coming back--time will tell.

Did you know that Joe Morgan played baseball? Did you know that Joe Morgan was good at baseball? If you answered no, then listen to one of his broadcasts. He will remind of those two things at least 100 times.

like miller a lot.....would probably put him 3rd behind steve stone and of course scully.

scully just the perfect announcer imo....perfect tone and timing although the years are catching up with him.

steve stone just knows baseball like no other human on the planet.

like millers voice and cadence...didn't have any opinion on morgan and don't care one way or the other.

probably blasphemy for me, but never cared for hershiser off the field. comes off as a complete nerd.

As much a Stone might know, I can't stand his nasely drone. To me, that voice is like nails on a chalk board! I've never heard a game of his long enough to know how good he might be.

Miller is great, IMO. Doesn't miss a beat, and has the right inflection all of the time. Doesn't get to "flashy", yet you know when something big is happening.

Can't believe I forgot about Stoney. Living in Eastern Iowa I get all the White Sox games and the only reason to watch them is to hear Steve Stone.
It was great when the White Sox brought him on--he does have to work with Hawk Harrelson--but he spent a good part of his career working with Harry Carrey so he's used to it
