I was really into Mississippi St. until I noticed that they play L.S.U five days later on Thursday night.

Do College teams get caught looking ahead? Or will they have no problem focusing on Auburn?

Seems like many will be thrilled to get Miss St. -7 or less after Auburn's week 1 performance. I am just thinking that Auburn comes out at home with something to prove.

Above may be an example of why I do not post very often! I am just starting to confuse myself!!

Thanks, G.J :

Poor scheduling on the part of Miss St imo. A bye, or a cupcake like LSU scheduled, leading up to the thursday nighter clearly makes far more sense.

College teams can get caught looking ahead, but this is a big game for Miss St, and revenge from last year's close loss. Miss St is still the little brother in the SEC west, so a shot at knocking off Aub with revenge means they should be motivated.

Sure Miss St should score, but I think Aub offense will create problems for 'weak' MSU LBs. I want to play Aub, but would have preferred the line had opened lower..... in the Miss St -2 or -3 range.

State isn't looking ahead here... This is a big game for MSU... yeah it doesn't help having LSU on deck on a short week, but it's a lot better to come into the LSU game 2-0 than 1-1...

SOMEWHERE AROUND THE S.E.C.
auburn has alot more talent than MSU has but it is very young team. Msu is a veteran team. Experience will sometimes overcome younger more tallented and less experience players. But 7 points is alot of points to be giving on the road to a coached team that has won 16 straight ballgames. the line should be in my opinion around 2

A BIG NO PLAY IF YOU ARE THINKING MSU.

I can see aa blow out by Miss state or a last minute toudown to take the lead. Keyed it in at miss state -5.5

I think 6 will win it, 7 may be the final score differential.

Then again, if i lose this one ill be ecstatic as an Auburn guy. I just dont think they are prepared and have started slow for several years.

The difference this year is miss state is a good team with great coaching.

They definitely arent thinking about lsu.

Most people seem to be on State, though, and the line's been rising, so I wouldn't worry about it. I think it's a bit high as well -- State -3 sounds about right.

This line opened so high that it would seem they are begging for Aub $$.

I am as Joe Public as they come. And when I first saw the line, home dog getting 7. I thought EASY MONEY!:00hour

I really should fade myself when I have such a gut feeling before looking at anything else. I seem to almost always be wrong in those cases.

Thanks for all the incite guys, think I will fade away!

I still think Miss.St. plays L.S.U on Thursday Sept.15.?? Which would be 5 days after Sept.10.

Thanks again, G.J
