I was thinking the same thing MistakeFinder. But, lots of people thought the same thing taking W. Va. last night and they got creamed. I'm taking Az. UCLA goes to G-Town and wins outright and folks think they're back. Az has been on the road and I think they massacre UCLA in front of the home crowd.

GL whatever you decide. nole

As a UA alum here's what I can tell you:

their lines have been way too high recently for the way they have been playing.

we keep waiting for them to play a full/great game, will we keep waiting or is this their max potential, winning ugly.

Lute Olson was quoted as saying that Mon/Tues was their best practices of the year.

They did blow out ucla by 37 at Pauley, however ucla seems to play better on the road.

look at comparative UA lines...-18 vs UW (l), -17 vs stan (l-outright), -15vs Cal (p), now -18 vs ucla. I guess sounds about right for the previous lines but most of those were kind of high.

From a fellow UofA alum, i couldn't agree w/ you anymore. You never really know what team will show up, we can easily cover teh spread tonite, however UCLA usually plays well vs us. Granted at Pauley we smoked them, but i weas at the agem we looked HORRIBLE in the first half. I think the best bet here is to stay away from it. UofA will win no doubt but I see in the more 12-14 point range.

Hey gjn23, when did you graduate?

grad in 92. how about you?

Was also at that game at Pauley and we played average in the first half and led by about 12, then they fell apart and we blew them away in the second half.

I've been calling for a bet against the UA the last 4 games, would be 3-0-1 right now, but as my luck would have it, I haven't dropped a penny against them. I know as soon as I do, we play our game of the year. Maybe that's the key, dump the money so we play better!

I'm a little more worried about $C than ucla. $C is pretty athletic and did give us fits for about 32 minutes at the Clip Joint earlier this year.

I just graduated back in May '02. Like you said, I think that the line may be high, but I read in the L.A. Times and on cattracks.net that we are really looking at this game as a spring board to get ourselves going to close out the PAC-10 regular season, then make a strong push in the PAC-10 and NCAA tourney's.

As per $C, I will be watching the ASU U$C game closely. $C looked great vs UNLV, and always plays ASU tight. I am not too worried about playing $C at home on Sat, however I think it will be a much more intriguing game then tonites.
