Cubs under 7.5 -110 / Game 1

Two very good pitchers are going for their respective teams in Clement and Wells. Clement had gone under in his last three games he has pitched going 21 innings and giving up just 15 hits. Wells has gone under the last three times he has faced Chicago and the Cubs' bats are not exactly lighting it up as of late. In the last 10 games the Cubs have gone under the tota 7 timesl. I look for this to be another low scoring affair.

Padres +110

The Padres are 7-3 as a team when Lawrence pitches. Davis from the Brewers has been outstanding in his last three but he is a left-hander and the Padres have hit substantially better from the left side of the plate this year. Overall, hitting .309, on the road .369 and in their last 10 games .290. I look for the Padres to beat this lefty and get us a victory.

Dodgers under 7 -120

Johnson and Alvarez hook up in this one. Both offenses have really struggled of late to put runs on the board and with these two fine left-handers pitching today I don't see the bats coming to life tonight. Randy Johnson over his last three has gone 23 innings giving up just 7 hits while carrying an outstanding whip of 0.43 and an era of 1.17. While Alvarez has not looked quite as good in his last three as he has overall he still has a whip on the season of 1.02 and an era of 3.27. I do not see many runs being put up here.
