Yesterday's Recap:
Phillies -118 Win
Mariners -190 Win
Red Sox -168 Loss
Angels +136 Loss
Braves Under 9 Win
Rockies Over 14 1/2 Win

Today I have a total of six plays so far; three sides and three totals. Here we go:

Play: LA Dodgers (Dreifort)
Line: -102
Opponent: AZ D-Backs (Bierbodt)
Arizona is throwing a rookie out there for his first start. He has put up some nice minor league numbers, but that is just it, in the minors. Dreifort is a quality starter that carries value at such a low number on the road against this rookie.

Play: Mtl Expos (Armas)
Line: -104
Opponent: Atl Braves (Perez)
I will take a chance on easily the better pitcher in this matchup, plus playing at home. Montreal will be looking to avoid the sweep and should be successful against Atlanta's weaker link in the starting rotation.

Play: Blt Orioles (Ponson)
Line: +192
Opponents: NY Yankees (Clemens)
After looking at Clemens' last few starts I am somewhat speculating that the Rocket isn't close to 100% healthy. That being said the Yanks bullpen has put in quite a bit of innings in the last week. So, if Roger gets off to a bad start it could be a long afternoon. Ponson is a nice pitcher, but the real reason this is a play is the value in the high number.

Play: Blt Orioles Vs. NY Yankees Over
Line: Over 8 1/2 -120
Pitchers: Ponson Vs. Clemens
I took the coward line on this one, at another book I play at I could have taken over 9 +104, but I figure, be conservative and take the 8 1/2 and lay some juice. Once again, I don't think Clemens is 100% and should give up his share of runs. Plus 8 1/2 in an American League game should be an over play on principle alone.

Play: Chc White Sox Vs. KC Royals Under
Line: Under 9 +104
Pitchers Buehrle Vs. Durbin
Both of these pitchers have really thrown some nice numbers on the board lately. Neither team is one of those hitting teams that scare you. As long as the KC bullpen doesn't blow our number out of the water at the end of the game, the play should go through.

Play: SD Padres Vs. SF Giants Under
Line: Under 9 -107
Pitchers: Eaton Vs. Ortiz
When I saw this line last night it immediately stood out to me. With two high quality starters going it stand to reason going under a run per inning is a given. I thought this one might be closer to 7 1/2 than nine. Take the value!!!

Good luck to all
