  • The average score in all games played in this series from 1997 is Arizona 6, Colorado 5.
  • The average score in games played in the last 3 seasons is Arizona 6, Colorado 5.
  • Schilling has a 3.68 ERA at home
  • Arizona's bullpen has a 4.40 ERA at home
  • Arizona's team hitting has an ERA of 5 against lefty starters
  • Hampton has a 7.39 ERA on the road
  • Colorado's bullpen has a 3.28 ERA on the road.
  • Colorado's team hitting has an ERA of 5 against righty starters.

    Recent meetings
  • 7/17/02, Hampton/Schilling, Score 12-3 Diamond Backs.
  • 4/12/02, Hampton/Schilling, Score 8-3 Diamond Backs.
  • In Hampton's last start against the Arizona he gave up 3 hits nd 10 runs in 5 innings pitched and 9 of those runs were earned runs.
  • In Schilling's last start against Colorado he gave up 3 runs in 7 innings pitched.

The BIGGEST CON
  • The last two meetings were in Colorado. Home of mile high stadium and mile long, long balls.
