14 winning days and 7 losing, but I have had two losing days in a row The sky is falling!!!!!!!! Now 25-16 up 16.2 units. For those that read my posts, this is what I am betting,

Pittsburgh +152
to beat St.Louis

Houston -126
to beat Chicago

Benson is just consistent and always keeps his team in the game. Cardinals are the better team overall of course but Benson is a better pitcher than Suppan. I think PITT has a real shot too win here especially with STL off a rivalry series and could be flat.
Houston looks a little too easy here so I will be cautious but this is what an ace is supposed to get paid for, to end losing streaks. Zambrano always capable of a great performance and has good numbers against HOu but this is a game for Oswalt to come up with a win no matter what it takes.

FWIW, I really like the play on the Pirates, and think I'll add it to my plays. Just a couple other things I think work in Pittsburgh's favour....Benson is historically solid against the Cards (6-3, 3.84 ERA) and the Pirates seem to be a much better team on the road, as do the Cardinals.

Like the call on the Bucs......Hell.......after that Pistons game (thank you btw, busted the book both ends on your halftime call), I just cant resist the price. Numbers backing it up too! Good Luck to us all!!!

This one I had to bet even after tossing and turning.

Florida -110
to beat Cincinnati

Even though Beckett has a disastrous time in his one appearance vs. Cincy I think this is great odds for the best young pitcher in the NL. The reason I like it so much is he is a strike out pitcher against a line up filled with free swingers. Reds are playing great and it is tough to go against a streak but Beckett should have close to 10 K's here i think, Kearn, Dunn, casey, and Griff will have their share.
