Pit +140
Mia +120
Chi/Cin over 8.5 even
Hou +1.5 even
Cws/Kc over 8 even
Though Pit is struggling they come into this series having seen Westbrook a few times already this year, while the Cards haven't seen McDonald. And though he's struggling lately, could be tough on the Cards if he gets it going tonight. On another note, Div rivalry games always seem to be close and tight where you can "throw the numbers away" in many instances. I see a coin flip with the surprise element going to Pit.
In Colorado, every game is a coin flip it seems no matter who is on the mound. I like Miami to rebound tonight and they have some HR hitters that can take advantage of Rockies pitching. Marlins are 20-19 versus lefties, while Rockies are 11-22. Close game last night, and I think Miami comes back tonight to make a statement of their own.
Both CWS/KC and CHI/CIN games are rematches featuring the same pitchers' of recently played games at their opponents' yard. Since no one is going to "fool" anyone this time around, I'm thinking the hitters have an advantage to get more runs.
Since Houston last faced AZ, Miley has had 2 quality starts in 4 starts. Keuchel also has had 2 quality starts in his last 4. Miley had his way with Hou while Keuchel looked pretty bad last time they played. Think AZ will see a better version of Keuchel and Hou will make their adjustments versus Miley having already seen him a month ago. Win or lose, I think we'll see different results with Astros playing much better at home. Wouldn't surprise me to see an outright win.
Good luck, folks.
