No wagers yesterday I try to take Sundays off gives me a chance to stay away rom the third games of series which I don't like playing (Usually.) I'm not gonna be able to write down stats anymore as time for me just won't permit it. I go to school and am doing this while i'm in class, but I am doing my work at the same time, we work on computers on building and networking and sometimes I have to shut down and disasemble everything and that's what's hard. So I'll just give an opion instead, hope it helps as I consider myself on Fire latly considering it's still early in the season. Heres todays pix, Looks good..

TODAYS PIX.......
Florida(2-4) @ Atlanta(2-4)
C. Pavano(0-1, 7,50) vs R. Ortiz(0-1, 4.50)
Weather: Mostly cloudy with a 70-percent chance of rain. Winds blowing out to right field at 10-15 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Near 70.
I kinda like Florida here, but i don't think Pavano or Ortiz will get a win. Both teams blew each other out once and you know Torborg, and Cox chewed both there teams out. According to news info sites Ortiz has dominated the Marlins w/ a 3-2 record, that doesn't sound dominating enough to me, he also holds a 2.57 ERA. Pavano is 1-1 against the braves and holds a 5.76ERA versus Atlanta. I'm looking for Pavano and Ortiz to pitch a good solid game and low, but in the end Florida has given Atlanta enough trouble over the years so I'll take Florida just in case.
Prediction: Florida 3 Atlanta 4
Play: Florida +1.5
Padres(3-4) @ Giants(6-0)
OL Perez(0-1, 11.25) vs J. Schmidt(1-0, 1.17)
Weather: Mostly sunny. Winds blowing out to right field at 5-10 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Around 60.
Giants try to extend their winning streak to 7-0, last week against the Padres Jason Schmidt pitched 7 2/3 innings giving up just one run and four hits. He is 7-2 with a 3.44 ERA lifetime against the Padres.. San Diego's Oliver Perez will pitch for the Padres today in San Fran. In the first meeting against the Giants he let up 5 runs in 4 innings. Perez hasn't faired well against the Giants in his career he's 0-2 and holds a 5.40 ERA. Perez got lit up at home against the Giants and I see no reason why today should be any difference in the Giants Home opener as they increase the streak to 7-0 and down the woefull Padres for 4 in a row, however I think Padres have woken up and will keep closer than expected consdering the the price of the Giants is just too much for my Blood.
Prediction: Giants 5, Padres 4
Play: Padres +1.5
Arizona(1-5) @ Dodgers(3-4)
E. Dessens(0-1, 7.20) vs K. Brown(1-0, 8.00)
Weather: Sunny. Light and variable winds. Game-time temperature: Around 70.
Both offenses seem to struggling early in this season, I was able to watch the Dodgers during spring training and they really didn't look that great at all. They seem to get tired late and the bats just seem like there too heavy to the batters. Arizona well who knows what's up with them. Dodgers have won 10 of their last 13 Home openers, however I don't see that as a factor in this game. Kevin Brown I don't see him having a great year just because he won his first game. I'v never got see Dessens pitch so I can't put money on him. I will put money on the offense due to the lack of. If I take a loss because they decide to hit the balll, I'm willing to wager that at least 1 of those 3 games goes under, I'll take it for today.
Prediction: LA 3, AZ 2
Play: UNDER 7.5
Brewers(0-6) @ Pirates(5-1)
G. Rusch vs K. Wells
Weather: Mostly cloudy with a 80-percent chance of snow. Winds blowing in from left field at 10-20 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Near 45.
Brews on the RD Again? Maybe looking at 7 losses against a Pitts team that has been off to a great start despite the 17-1 loss against the Phillies, don't think that matters today, except for maybe the weather, I'm in N,Y and it's brutal cold outside, Piits more up North so I can only image it their. Maybe, just maybe Brews can spoil the Home opener for this Pittsburg team if Rusch has a good game and stays warm. He is 0-6 against the Pirates, and Wells 4-1 against the Brews. Won't take either team cause I truly believe Pirates should win. However shoulda coulda woulda but didn't may happen here due to the cold. Who knows maybe Brews play better in cold weather? I'll stick to my normal thinking as Cold weather causes low games no matter how good the offense. If brews win I'll be just as shocked as if it goes over!
Prediction Brews 3, Pirates 2
Play-UNDER 8.5
Hope we hit em all. Some crazy picks I know, You can fade if you want or go w/ the Flow. This what I put Money on, and I also take into consideration that I believe Vegas runs the show, or they wouldn't be in buisness. The Public play w/ newbies is Pirates Over, so on and so fourth then some Vets go along thinking the same because it's supposed to happen. I found what's supposed to happen usually doesn't with a few games you just have to pick those games out. Hopefully I did the job. Gl Today EVERYONE!
