This Jarvis is a really good pitcher who gets ahead of hitters and has some good stuff with his pitches....This is a dog that cant be overlooked...I dont want to hear about SF and their on a roll...ya beat a no hitting LA club and now needing a dinger to beat SD....yes they will be in the race at the end but ya gotta beat some 1 who is competitive right now and these Padres R young and aggressive....just my view but keep an eye on this Game...GL every 1

Ainsworth is nothing special but I like to see at least one decent start from a guy with Jarvis's bad track record before putting cash on him.

Gotta luv a man who does his homework...but look at what Jarvis did agaisnt the D-backs this yr(yes only 1 outing but)his era is 2.57...he dont strike out many usually 4-5 per game but he keeps ya in it......he is a spot pitcher and gets ahead of hitters...the #s tell ya to take SF and run...so I look at it like this....I will but only the other way when I have some 1 who keeps me in the game.....odds are on SF but I have a young fiesty team who will produce runs and a desent bullpen and a great closer....the bookmakers want me to take SF but I wont...going the other way....when making a selection ya must consider Bullpen, Bullpen, Bullpen....taking my chances...but....nice work on the digging up of info on Jarvis....Seems to me prople ya gotta man who does his homework...GL to ya...

CUBS 5* I know they have only produced a .127 BA OV the last 2-3 days but I am not going to miss this opportunity w/Lieber...Something tells me its going to be a squeeker but thats how winning or should I say losing tms go on a streak...Pitt who is no better than a 500 tm if that at most, and I do mean mean at most, so if ya figure a tm that will lose w/probability 90 to 97 gms this season their is noway in my mind you can go into a tm like the Cubs( hoping to secure a wild card spot) and sweep them let alone win 5-6 gms on the road in a row....this is my GOD, GOM or whatever way U want to put it....GL every1
