I hate this Wild Card format by the way. You play 162 games and decide to go with just one to move on in the playoffs? Next thing you know, baseball will decide to have an exhibition game decide who gets home field in the Series. Wait...really?

World Series

Yes I admit it. I'm a Royals fan at heart and George Brett was my idol growing up in Missouri. Played third base, wore #5, the whole nine yards. Too bad I couldn't hit the curve ball unless I knew it was coming which made playing after high school very unrealistic.

Anyway...

I totally respect the Mets and their pitching but I also respect KC hitting, experience and home field. The value is with the Royals. I'll be much more of a fan than a bettor for this Series so...

I like where the Royals are but I'm surprised that many are calling this Series over. The Mets have too much pitching. I'm hoping for 3-2 Royals on the way to game 6. Hedging the original future for half.
