No time for writeups today, but I would like to tell you a Big Angle in the Baltimore-Yankees game. It has to do with the Home Plate Umpire Brian Gorman.

Normally, I think the majority of Home Plate Umps play no favoritism towards the team playing on the road or at home, but I do believe there are a few exceptions. One of these is Gorman. To tell you the truth, when he was behind the plate last year, the home team won 33 out of 46 games!   Now I don't believe that is just coincidence.

There's not many Umps in the league like this, but Brian Gorman definately is a "HOMER" Ump. He likes to be on the fans' side and does not like to take heat from the home fans. Baltimore should have another decent size crowd today.

Also, in this game Ponson pitched very well in Spring, going 3-1 with an ERA of 2.61

The Yankees are struggling to put up Runs as well. There's a lot of value here.

Good luck in all your plays today. :D

Note in the Florida game:

Penny, who's pitching for the Marlins, had one of the most dominating in not the most dominate season last year vs a single team.

In 4 starts vs the Expos last year he only gave up one run
He was a pefect 4-0 with an ERA of 0.30

Penny is also a career 5-0 vs the Expos. Being on the road just keeps the line a little lower. But there's no factor here, the Expos had under 5000 fans show up yesterday and today should be no different.
