55-59, +2507 overall

Sorry I haven't responded to some of you guys recently. I have been busy.

Pep, when I lay chalk it is always to risk rather than to win. If Pedro loses, it is the same as losing any other bet. If he wins, it may not win much, but it is a nice little pickup.

Four for today.

Milwaukee +153 over CUBS 400/612

Tapani has struggled recently while Wright has been great. Brewers have the better lineup and their bullpen seems to be getting hot. The Cubs lineup is not great at all so this could be an extended slump.

Arizona +135 over COLORADO 400/540

Astacio has a name but he has been bad lately. Ellis is just the opposite, a no-name guy pitching great. Every advantage I see today is with Arizona especially with the Rockies not producing runs lately.

San Francisco +135 over ST. LOUIS 400/540

Rueter is pitching better than he has all year and the SF bullpen was not even used yesterday. St. Louis is really in a slump and with SF hot this is a great spot for the GIants.

DETROIT +125 over Minnesota 400/500

Radke has been ordinary recently. Weaver comes off a bad start but he almost always goes at least 7 strong. The Twins are slumping and with that punchless lineup the Tigers have the advantage.

TAMPA BAY +235 over Yankees 100/235

Just a small bet. I can't get over the fact that Tampa is finally scoring runs consistently and that they played with such confidence vs. Pedro. I actually looked hard at putting $400 on Clemens earlier but I think the Rays are worth a small shot today.
