3-2 -0.8 Units yesterday. The Brewers KILLED me.
6-3-1 +4.65 on the season
Kansas City Under 4 Runs -105 3.15 Units
Vazquez is lights out vs the Royals in his career. 37 IP 16 H 6 ER 1.43 ERA .129 BAA. I was on the Royals over yesterday and lost, I am going to ride the hot Vazquez coming off two good starts vs. the Yankees and Blue Jays. Just need to hope Vazquez goes at least 7 and the mop up men don't give up any meaningless runs in a blowout.
Oakland Over 5 Runs -115 3.45 Units
This might seem like a lot, asking the A's to score more than 5 runs, but it is Joel Pineiro on the hill. Oakland has absolutely battered this guy around this year.
April 9: 7 IP 10 H 5 ER
May 18: 6 IP 7 H 5 ER
June 14: 4 IP 6 H 5 ER
Aug 5: 2.2 IP 8 H 4 ER
Anybody see a trend here? Pineiro has been plagued with some bad defense behind him, but he hasn't handled it well. Kotsay is set to return for the A's and that should be a boost at the top of the order. It doesn't hurt that Kotsay is 10-32 .313 career vs. Piniero.
Tampa Bay Under 3.5 Runs -115 2.3Units
Halladay is the best pitcher in the AL. The question is do we see the Roy who dominated the D-Rays in his last 2 outings?
8 IP 5 H 2 ER
9 IP 3 H 1 ER
or
the Halladay who pitched in his second start of the season vs TB?
7.1 IP 8 H 5 ER
I will take this Cy Young winner to shutdown the D-Rays today.
Looking at one or two more later tonight on the West Coast.
Good Luck,
Hucklebuck
