A few notes before the season starts: I will NOT be doing any "major" write-ups for the first 4-6 weeks of the season until I get a feel for the teams and the pitchers get several starts under their belts and then I will start to do writeups on games that you guys have grown to like. I am going to start the season very lightly until stats start coming in. This year, I will be rating my plays on a 1-3* unit scale, with the occasional 5* Top Play. Last season, I was +203.17u (including the playoffs) and it was a once in a life time season. PLEASE don't except me to duplicate or surpass last years results. If I can just have a positive season, I will be happy. Please know that each and every game every night will be FULLY handicapped and researched just like last year to the best of my ability. Here's to another long bases marathon and I wish every madjacker g/l...............Cheers, Jr44

First game..................

NY Yankees (Fried) -120 over San Francisco Giants (Webb) (3x)

-Fried was 19-5 last season with a 2.86 ERA and has historically dominated the Giants, holding a 4-1 record and a 2.68 ERA against them. On the other hand, Logan Webb is 1-3 career vs the NY Yankees with a hefty 5.50 ERA. In addition, Fried had an excellent spring training and has historically been a fast starter, posting a 6-0 record and a 1.01 ERA in his first seven starts in 2025 with 3 shutouts. Logan Webb has an 11-11 career in the months of March and April in his career. Play the Yankees at a short favorite price.

Fried also has the support of a Yankees lineup that has most of last season’s hitters who led the league with 5.2 runs per game.

Good luck and good capping this season!
