Phillies over 95.5

Just a warning- I speak as a homer.

I believe that the Phils will be fired up after what was a rather disappointing showing in the playoffs last year. They really are better than what they played last year.

And they improved their bench with the likes of Thome, L.Nix, J.Pierre, and T.Wiggington. I loved R.Ibanez but feel strongly that D.Rhodes and/or J.Mayberry will take over left field and will be a much stronger play than Raul was.

Philly is getting older, and the nucleus of players from the 2008 World Series team realize and know that they need to take care of business now!

Most of all and the 3 main reasons I like Philly to win 100 games this year is- Halladay, Lee, and Hamels. That looks like 60 wins right there.

Good Luck, G.Juice :0074

That NL east will be so tough this season I just can't see the Phillies getting to 96.

Howard is going to be out for a good amount of season. Utley has struggled to stay healthy as well.

The upgrades in Miami and DC will keep that number down as well.

I would say Colorado under. Their starting pitching which has been a strength in the past, relative to the park they play in, looks pretty weak to me. Do not see a 82 win team.

Tough thing about the NL East is that overall it is probably the best division in baseball. Hard to project but Phillies should win it.
