Monmouth -7.5 over Siena ****
Saints and Pastos hyping up this game today...Saints won 6 of last 8 but on the road they are an avg team..they just beat a bad Quin team by 12...but in their last 2 MAAC rd games they lost to
Manhattan by 5 on OT,lost by 4 to Peter and in that game their best player Wright scored 20 pts,5 steals and 4 bds....he is out for the season...also lost to Cornell by 1....they have an excellent front line probably the best in the MAAC with 6'8's Bisping,Ogunjemi and Long...they avg 15,14 and 11 pts and 8,6and 6 bds...but they have no gds...also their gds are big 6'5,6'5 and 6'4....so they aren't the quickest gds...and all avg 5 or 6 pts a game.. Hawks have Robinson at 5'8 who is one of the best pt gds in the country..he has gone up against some big time schools and no one stoped him or slow him down...avgs 20 pts a game and never misses a FT..Stewart and Brady have their work cut out today because of the saints front line..Jones and Seaborn are big gds that can score..and Hornbeak scored 9 pts in the Iona game the other nite after being suspended a few games...he is there best perimeter defender and at 6'3 contest any shooters...Hawks are ranked 34th in offense avg 81 pts a game..they are 37th in FG% and ranked 6th in the country in FT% shooting 76%...they are weak on defensive bds so Saints will be attacking inside...but with Robinson he is so tough to defend esp with big 6'5 gds trying to stop him...
Hawks win this by double d's at home..they scored 110 pts vs Iona....they won't do that today but Siena is only a few games behind them in the MAAC....they took care of Iona and today the saints..
TCU+4 over Texas Tech **
OU +1.5 over Iowa St **
Think this games goes down to "who has the ball with 10 seconds left...I think Buddy does.
Purdue -20 over Rutgers **
Rutgers can't score..hate giving anybody 20 pts at the RAC...
yesterday 6-2 +9
