I'm trailing my opponent by 12 points. He doesn't have anyone playing tonight, and I have 3 players to choose from (Portis, Moss, Curtis). I'm definitely starting Portis, but who would you start at receiver? Please state your reason. Thanks in advance.

I'd play Moss over Curtis.

I think the Wash secondary is better than Phil.

I think Wash will have a hard time running the ball, while Phil will be able to - more passes.

I think Moss has more upside than Curtis, as he is Wash's #1 and Curtis is #2 at best.

But I've been wrong before...

How does the scoring work? Do you get a point per reception?

I think you are saying you can start a RB and WR.

This is from Draftsharks weekly rankings, and they are usually pretty good with predictions.

14. RB Clinton Portis, WAS vs PHI
85 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TDs, 20 Rec Yds, 0 Rec TDs

Our own Marty McDonald spoke to ex-Giants RB Ottis Anderson at the WCOFF in LAs Vegas last weekend. Anderson shared this snippet: "Portis doesn't want to play hard anymore. He's afraid of getting hurt." Hmmm... still, Portis was running hard last week and those 98 yards against Miami weren't a fluke. He's scored 5 TDs in his last 4 games against Philly.

8. WR Santana Moss, WAS vs PHI
90 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TDs

Moss was only targeted 7 times vs. the Dolphins and was used a decoy in the 4th quarter and OT. That will change quickly. In 4 starts on Monday night, Moss has 12 catches for 351 yards (a sizzling 29.3 avg.) and 2 TDs.

Curtis isn't listed.

I would start those guys and you should win.

Doughboy, it's not a point per reception league. A touchdown equals 6 points, and 10 receiving yards equals one point. I'm leaning toward Portis and Moss right now, but that's putting a lot of faith in Campbell and the Skins' offense! Thanks for the feedback fellas.

Given that you already bet on Washington, see NFl thread, you obviously think somehow they must score. I would side with Portis/Moss thinking that if/when they score you have a good chance it being one of them. Fire in some yards and you should be fine. Go get 'em and I will be rooting you on as I already won for the week in my league, thank you Steve Smith.

If Portis really said that, he is a big p***y, and I have lost all respect for him, as I'm sure his teammates have. Just collecting a paycheck CP? Why don't you retire instead? Football is a war for gladiators, not primadonnas. I'm sure Anderson wanted to b**h slap him, because he was one of the toughest runners I have ever seen.

By playing Portis and Moss you are covered no matter what kind of game it ends up being for the Skins. Catchup = Moss, Close controlled offense = Portis.

You should win pretty comfortably I would think.

I would start Mosss as I have Moss going in this Game. Have Curtis in another league waiting on my bench, he will start soon
