Agreed........

Agreed........

Thanks Jack!

But Jibber, you have to love these guys when they come in and say "I guarentee we will go 4-0 tonight, and if we don't, we'll give you the entire month for free!" Doesn't that sound like a great deal? It's like a car salesman saying, "Hey, seriously, buy this sweet ride, and if the engine falls out, and the car catches fire and is turned to nothing but ashes on the way home, we'll give it to you for half price."

Idiots!

Oh crap! Are you telling me these guys don't really have the inside information? I just mortgaged my house because this guy promised me that he has tonight's game fixed and if I will only send him 5 dimes he will give me the side and total and I can parlay it together and make at least $25K tonight alone!!

OK - I'm just kidding. The best phone call I ever had from a tout was hilarious. He said 'It's like I'm readin' tomorrahs papah. You can't friggin' lose wid my picks, we haven't lost a game in 3 months!' I actually wanted to believe the guy because I was so far in the hole at the time.

Again, thanks to MJ and all the great cappers here, especially to you Mr Gibber1 - I only wish I had coattailed you all season, that's a hell of a record for any sport but especially for the NFL. I read once that there was a standing challenge in Las Vegas that ANYONE who could pick 60% winners against the spread with a minimum of 100 selections would win $100K. Has anyone else heard that story? Perhaps it's just a myth.

Gibb, I was up 103 units just like you buy coattailing you and many other CAPPERS here. Wished I did like you and reduces the bets. Instead tried to hit a homerun, end up backfire and lost half of what I earned. But I am still up from the bookies still following your lead but reduces the units. Thanks for the plays and GL to all.

thanks for the props guys..

thought i would have more time for write ups.. but i dont.. my write ups are lame anyway..

going with over 37 2units

and

sanfran -7 4units

Philly has allowed 5 TD passes in two games...not good w/ T Owens catching the rock.. Philly has only given up one 100yrd rusher this year.. Garcia will have to throw all night..

Most think this will be the D. Staley show.. not going to happen..
San Fran has held Charlie Garner, Priest Holmes and LaDainian Tomlinson under 100yrds rushing.. They will stuff the line and force Detmer to air it out..

Basically i see lots of passing w/ San Fran winning the turnover battle..

The main concern is San Fran kicking game.. christ if they cant make field goals.. this could go to chit real quick..

ill take

over 37 2units
SF -7 4units

tease
philly +14
under 44.5 3units

good luck guys:D

GM, at first glance i loved the points..
but every time i find a game i like.. i cap the other side to see if there is anything im missing..

in this case you have a one dimensional team w/ out its one dimension..

" they are sheep, mere sheep!! easily dispersed if you strike the shepherd." -King LongShanks- Braveheart

Detmer has not played in 3yrs.. San Fran will be blitzing down his throat all night... my hopes are that he makes mistakes and turns the ball over a few times.. with Philly D giving up so many passing yards.. San Fran can cover.

good luck

on the other hand GM sometimes you can cap yourself right out of a winning ticket..

at least the over looks good:shrug:

Sorry for your loss Gibber. :(

But I was genuinely concerned when I saw you jump to the other side, because you're one of the ones I watch here. To me this game was a slam dunk pick on Philly the whole way. I just loved the F.G.A.T.I.T. (First game after the injury theory) + quality team with good D + getting more than a TD. I know it's easy to say that after the game is over, but I was pushing Philly hard all day here and on another board.

When I first came to MJ's my tendency was to oppose the general consensus, because that's what I would do as a rule at my former posting home, The Presquaretion. I came to the realization quickly that this place is NOT like that place and going against certain people here is suicide. So when I saw you switch I thought maybe you just saw too many people on Philly here and flopped. This board definitely was not pushing the side the general public was on tonight, IMO.

Anyways, keep up the good work Gibber and don't shut it down for the year, for our sake if not yours. :)

Cheers.

yeah like i said i capped myself out of a winner..

i had no idea San Frans D would be so horrid! they could stop nothing..... i obviously did not give Detmer enough credit while giving SF to much..

i went away from my own philosophy and it cost me..

thanks for the support GM.. ill see you next week:D
