mnf record suffered a loss last week after winning 9 straight! now its time to get back on the right side! this game i feel should be no more than sf -3.getting +7 due to mcnabb is crazy! detmer is a fine qb,and thing the san fran defense is a little over rated!
also think eagles can win this s/u!

While McNabb has proven to be a valuable QB I agree with you that his absence shouldn't cause this much line movement, hopefully the public is overreacting and creating some value here. After all, the Eagles defense certainly isn't effect by McNabb's absence and Detmer IS a good QB, just not as mobile or effective as McNabb. Do you suppose this might give the UNDER some value as the Eagles may want to run the ball more than normal?

i love the under! not sure im going with it yet,but if it stays under-u gotto like eagles more! staley will be the key-think they will set detmer up with short screns and also think lewis will a big go to guy as well. tampa bay has a great d but this defense i always said is just as good. they might be small up front but they are fast. should be a great game-they will keep garcia on his toes-thats for sure

i totally disagree guys....Detmer is NOT a good QB. The guy knows the offense, but c'mon, the guy hasn only thrown about 200 passes in his career! His QB Rating over his career is in the 60's. He is NOT mobile, so that takes away about 35% of the running game. It takes away about 40% of the passing game. McNabb IS the Eagles offense. His ability to make plays happen is the reason everything works in that offense. Without him, the very good 49er defense is going to have their way with the Eagles at home off a road loss. This one is going to be a methodical 24-3 win

No question the Philly D can keep them in the game. San Fran has been very inconsistent lately and things wont change tonite. True Detmer is about as inconsistent as they come. Look for Reid to keep it as simple as possible and feature lots of short passes and duce.

Agree big tease, detmer couldnt complete f*cking his wife, nevermind a pass. Should be a one sided game. San Fran has a good defense too. McNabb is better than Vick, and his absence should show. 24-10 san fran

Bet ON a team in their first game without their injured star player. Team pulls together to make up for the loss. Over time they cannot keep it up, but for the FIRST game they are very focused and usually deliver. Line skewed in your favor, everyone and their uncle driving the line up for something the linemaker has already figured into the line.

The niners have not played a true d all season. They only have 9 turnovers on the year and they are due tonight against this d. WIth the ball control offense they play any turnover could be deadly. If you look they have beaten Washington by 10 the rams by 24, and the Cardinals by 10 all at home. The eagles are superior to any of these teams. You also have to factor in that Andy Reid is a superior coach. Mooch is so overrated and many niner fans would love to see him go. Also factor in that Andy Reid is 8-0 in primetime games. They also have the edge when it comes to the kickers. With these two d's it may come down to field goals. I love the eagles with the 7 as the niners can not blow anybody out. Good luck
