Isn't there a trend/system where the SU winner has the high percentage of ATS winner for MNF games ???
If this is so then, we can forget what the spread is and analyze who has a better chance winning SU.
Maybe MW can have some inputs on this ??

AND_ONE, you are absolutely right that "trend" (I dont know if its a trend) actually works, but in a game with a 3 points spread, you actually are looking for the winner, so I dont think that taking the 3 points will help here, you win outright or you lose either with the + points.

I think this is what you're asking about: over the years, it has been rare for the favorite to win without covering on Monday Night Football (although I know it happened at least once last year). Whether there is a reason for this phenomenon, or whether it's just random chance -- I don't know. The implication -- if we assume that this will continue -- is that you should bet the moneyline if you like the dog, and you should not bother teasing a seven-point favorite down to -1, as people often do.

This is just how things have worked. Don't have any further reason to expect this phenomenon to continue.
