My Saturday gut feeling is the Colts -2.5 is the way to go. Pats are vulnerable vs the Run and they just haven?t gone up against many good rushing teams. I think Pats lack of weapons outside the running backs will hurt them here. Bourne is having a nice season but I think the Colts corners can match them up.
Now let?s get to the Vikings at Chicago. Vikings are Jeckyll and Hyde and the Bears well they haven?t been very good. Vikes need this one to keep their playoff hopes alive and Bears well they are looking to next season with a lame duck coach. There are a couple interesting angles about this game. Vikes be without Adam Thielen and Alexander Mattison which could be a big deal if Cook takes a shot to the shoulder. Can the Vikings consistently move the football on the Bears? I don?t think so, there wont be gaping holes against the Bears front who should have Hicks back like they did against Pittsburgh and Bears corner Jaylon Johnson has the ability to slow down Justin Jefferson leading the Vikes to having to run the ball and try to get the ball to TE Conklin and WR Osborn. It?s not going to be March up and down the field..
On the other side of the ball can Fields take advantage of a Vikings weak secondary? Vikes D looked great for 42 minutes last week and then the Steelers wide outs got to about 3
Bomb jump balls. I don?t think Chicago?s receivers can do that to them at all, is Alan Robinson done? I think a vikes corner Patrick Peterson can lock down Robinson, I think the key here is Mooney on Breeland. Bears will try to run it but the Vikes have everyone healthy in the middle but Bears should have some success. The key for the Bears is Fields. Vikes struggle against running QBs and Fileds has the legs to take advantage and find players down field. Vikes without Everson and Hunter (out for season) will
Have a hard time containing. I expect both teams to struggle in red zone .
Under 44 (again ugh)
As for the side I like the Bears +3.5.
Bad Bears teams have beat good Vikes teams and this Vikings team isn?t very good
Adding Green Bay -7
