Love it even more after ESPN just announced a 78 (i think, cant remember exactly) million dollar contract extension for 5 years for donovan....with a clause of 40 million guaranteed. He turns 34 this months and thats pretty solid lock for him. Initially I was iffy by the pick at first because both vick and mcnabb would be fighting for their extensions for next year...however mcnabb doesnt have that problem anymore..pressure is off.
Philly is better on paper, holds an edge in trends, is pissed about the loss earlier this season and seeks revenge, more options when it comes to throwing the ball etc.
Many are scared because it seems to be a public bet and there is nothing sweeter than to go against that...however the public does win as well and sometimes you just gotta follow your gut instinct.
