For only the second time this year, the Eagles are a dog. In week one, they were spotted 1 in Tennessee, and lost SU. The game went 2 touchdowns over the posted total of 37, ironically. It is tough to stay away from a team that is rarely a dog. With the G-Men losing, this would be a steal to move into the driver's seat of their division. Although Detmer is not McNabb, and won't necessarily fit into their system right away, Philly's OL will keep him protected, and he can hopefully pick apart the overrated SF Defense, CB Mike Rumph especially. Every SF game this year, he seems to screw them over with a stupid penalty.

San Fran is 2-0-1 when laying 7+. One negative trend for the Eagles' bettors.

Philly's Defense comes to play in the big games, holding the Big Blue to 3, and the Skins to 7. San Fran's Offense is a little more disciplined, but relies heavily on the run, which Philly can shut down on any given Sunday (Monday).

The public has POUNDED SF and the OVER.
Philly 17-14.
GL to all.

Gibber -

I don't think this forum is reflecting the public's opinion at all - at least not on this particular game. You're right, this forum is heavily on Philly & Under. All the monitoring sites I have checked though are on SF and Over.

I think we are on the right side here (at least on the Philly part). I was initially on the Under too, but I think Philly is a more solid bet, so just going with that.
