We saw it yesterday. Great movie and still keeping us on the edge of our seats til the second part comes out.
Going to respectfully disagree with you here..
The Mockingjay book is what 350 pages??? Yet they stretch this somewhat short book out into 3 movies to ensure they squeeze every penny out of you and me the consumer.
This sets the stage for the first hour and 20 minutes being mostly boring filler. The dialogue is schlock and the acting is bad. I mean Julianne Moore is a great actress.. But not even she can bring any life to these boring scenes and comes off very flat.
Then about the time it starts getting good it ends. Just enough of a tease to ensure the drones will be in line for the next one.
Much like the hobbit series they are needlessly stretching this thing out for one reason and one reason only, it aint content.
Damn shame too b/c the wife and I so seldom get a kid free night and see a movie. She fell asleep and I was bored off my ass.

My daughter has the books and she and my son have read them. I myself have not so I'm not sure how much the books differ from the movie. Same goes for the Divergent Series. They both read the books and I have only seen the movie- the second one is due out soon I forget the date.
Fell asleep half way in. Guy tapped me on the shoulder and said "hey old man your snooring" I walked out.
