JT didn't leave much for me to say but I'll point out a couple of things. High profile games are a different breed of ball-game. Cap it all you want and something will still go wrong. This is the only game in town and there will be more played on this game tonight than any game yesterday. You should take Vegas into account when capping this game. Also TV has to be considered. We had two ho hum games last Sun and Mon. Some of you won't buy any of this but it does come into play. The obvious very seldom happens on MNF. Go to BG and you will find something that I find quite funny. All the losers are on NY and under. The guys with the high winning percentages are almost all on Phil or the over or both.
Other than what JT pointed out here are some serious points to take into consideration.
McNabb will be the difference in this game. Coming into this week, only Warner and Favre were ranked above him and he is also ave 5.1 ypc rushing. He has maybe the strongest arm in the NFL and in my opinion is what Tenn wishes McNair was. And he is getting better. As good as Warner is, McNabb will give the Giants problems they haven't faced all year, a mobile quarterback that can throw it a mile. Stacy being back isn't going to hurt either. On a nuetral field, I have this game at Phil -3. Phil o has more ways to score if they get the chance and their d is very close to NY. Almost even.
Capping the totals, I have the loser with 17 plus points which means at 35' I go over. I don't think Vegas will let the teasers win tonight. If I am right, look for the total to be over 42.
If on the first series, a holding call or calls keep a team from scoring, my total is proably cooked. Here's the bottom line
