Pacers -7.5 Would still play at 9.5. Off two days rest this team had this game circled. Nets have the unfavorable schedule and are b2b. First thing that comes to mind looking at this game is how the slow sluggish Nets are going to score 80 points. My only concern is how teams step up when a star player is out, so I'm hoping CJ Watson doesn't do his best Nate Robinson impression.
Pistons -4 Would still play at 6. Let's not let a mere basket sway from the idea that the seemingly tired Hornets are playing b2b against a suddenly tough out in Detroit and with their front court of Jason Maxiell and Greg Monroe playing well. My only concern (again ironically as I didn't know when placing the early wager) is how teams step up when a player (Gordon) is out. Hoping Rivers or Vasquez don't have a career night.
Other thoughts on two games I wish I played, but didn't:
Bobcats +4.5 Celtics seemed to hit the wall yesterday and the Bobcats have shown to be competitive lately against the Lakers and Heat.
Bulls -2 Whereas Brooklyn is sluggish and terrible at defending the 3-ball, Bulls are a bit quicker, tougher, and defend better. Bulls usually get up for good teams and are 18-11 against teams above 500. Spurs as an underdog (which doesn't happen too often) are 1-4. Think Chicago bullies the Texans a bit tonight and gives them a bit of the east coast treatment.
GL, everyone.
