season: 5-9 -1.85

PLAYS
red wings +110 0.7/0.77
Also tempted by the Sharks at +100, the Sabres -1.5 at +170, and the Sharks-Canucks under the 5 at -105. I'll watch with curiosity to see how they would have done, but I'll let curiosity kill the cat and not my bankroll for these temptations. NHL will be pretty quiet for me until things get rolling a little more. Any decent lines on the Senators (dream) might get my money, and I'll keep riding the Hurricanes, I think, while they're still being priced affordably, which won't be for long if they keep things up. I still think that the Lightning is a good team to ride right now, what with them being priced quite reasonably, but I wasn't too impressed by the performance that they gave in their last game, on the road to the Panthers (though they did almost erase a 3-goal deficit in the 3rd period).
Stickin' with the Wings for today. Sharks haven't been scoring much and that could continue against Luongo (hence the under temptation, but the Canucks scored 9 in their recent 2 games against the Oilers)...now that I think of it the Canucks don't look like such a bad play for Monday...totally passing on the Sharks. Leafs have scored 12 goals over their past 2 since getting lambasted by the Hurricanes so they're bound to get some in Buffalo, while it's too early to tell if the Sabres 13 goals over their past 2 games was a bit of an abberation. It should really be Raycroft's turn in net for the Blue and White, too, and he's been pretty good while counterpart Toskala has been crap...I really need to know who's starting in net before making any early-season Leafs plays, for or against.
I think that the only thing that I left out was my shoe size.
Stay tuned.
